The Model 88C Resistivity Meter measures the resistivity of fluids, slurries, and semisolids (e.g., filtercakes or mud solids). Its digital readout gives measurements in three ohm-meter ranges: 0.01 to 2; 0.1 to 20; 1.0 to 200.

Resistivity measurements are useful in formation evaluation. This resistivity meter can be used in the laboratory or field and conforms to API Recommended Practice 13B-1 for measuring resistivity. (Conductivity of the sample is the reciprocal of the resistivity measurement.)
