ST hydrostatic or also called biaxial, core holders are standard type core holder defined by having common radial and axial pressure. In general, these core holders are dedicated to gas and liquid permeability flooding and aging experimentations. The sample is inserted through the loading end and an adjustable floating piston ensures the solid maintain of the sample of any length.
An easy access of the sample allows user to do not empty the confining fluid during core sample change. The core holder can be also designed with pressure taps whose number can be defined by customer request.
